Magda was born in Aguachica, Colombia. She studied nursing and is also a specialist in integrated quality management systems and internal audit.
She began her professional career in 2005, carrying out health promotion and disease prevention programs in primary and secondary care institutions. She has 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where working in different multinationals helped her acquire knowledge in different therapeutic areas, including women's health, high-cost diseases, and respiratory diseases and diabetes.
She says, “Being part of the Angels Initiative allows me to help generate quality care opportunities for patients and their families. In addition, it allows me to support patient care and promote change in government agencies, health institutions, prehospital care companies and in the community.”
