Miriam Susan Saturno Mauricio is from Perú. She has a master’s degree in Public Health: Health Management, and is also an Administrative Engineer and has an MBA.
She has 17 years’ experience in the implementation, certification and improvement of various management systems including quality, safety, occupational health, business continuity and risk management. She has worked in certification bodies as a consultant, auditor and instructor.
For several years she led quality and patient safety management in public and private health institutions. In addition, she was in charge of several improvement projects at national level.
Miriam’s goal is for more people to have access to safe health services, receive quality care and enjoy a better experience in that process. Her passion is to generate that change.
The Angels mission inspires her because it materialises her passion. Joining a global initiative to change outcomes for millions of stroke patients is a challenge she takes on with great commitment and fortitude – because it is the “legacy she wants to leave.
